Interiors
We believe you will find our approach refreshingly honest and straightforward. We treat every property as though it were our own home so, wherever possible, we encourage the re-use or up-cycling of clients’ sentimental possessions, rejecting the ‘blank canvas designer look’ in favour of a more eclectic, lived in feel. We want homes to feel like…well, homes.
Our signature look and feel is therefore incredibly relaxed and welcoming, with surprising juxtapositions of old and new creating a sense that the interior has evolved over time, just as country houses have done for centuries.
Landscapes
We work at a variety of scales, from creating small cottage gardens to working on extensive grounds of country houses. We have planted many kilometres of hedges, thousands of trees and even restored 16 acres of rare magnesium limestone wildflower meadow.
Our work always responds to genius loci - that unique sense of place created by the surrounding landscape, the local vernacular, species of plants native to the locality - as well, of course, to our clients’ brief and their particular requirements.
